This is a darling vintage all black turbo Orlon cardigan sweater with a faux fur collar. The faux fur is in smooth new looking shape...lined underneath with the same lining as the sweater. The collar is shawl style with a slight V front...not too deep at all. There is a snap at the top for a snug closure and five prong set rhinestone buttons...the prongs are actually little scallops all around each stone so there is no chance these buttons would snag anything....a hook and eye at the bottom of ther ribbing to secure a complete closure. The sleeves are long and the ribbing is 4 in. long...there is no seam on the ribbing so you can turn the ribbing up to make a cuff if you like. The 1 3/4 in. ribbing at the bottom of the sweater is turned under and hemmed. There is a heavy weight smooth shiny silk or rayon lining...body only. The sweater is styled to sit very close to the waist. The condition of this sweater is excellent vintage....no issues at all....the Orlon, of course, is not as crisp as brand new, but it is still in very nice condition...gently worn and well taken care of.
