Up for auction is a vintage straight razor -- this razor is marked J R Torrey Co., Worchester, MA -- The Torrey Company was founded in 1858 to make razor strops and sell straight razors -- the company started manufacturing straight razors in 1880 -- the company ran from 1858 to 1963 -- this straight razor is green in color on the handle -- the tang is covered in mother of pearl and inscribed on the blade is "Full Double Concave" -- the blade does not have any chips or nicks on it -- the razor is over all in excellent condition --
