I am an avid straight razor collector and shaver. I have too many razors, and I need to thin down the herd. I am listing multiple razors, so check out my other auctions. I will gladly combine shipping.Wade & Butcher 7/8 Wedge Straight Razor - Classic 19 th century full wedge razor from Sheffield, England. Measures approximately 7/8 (see photo with ruler). Blade shows faint black rust marks, pitting, and scratches. The edge has no cracks or chips. Scales are made from rosewood sealed with several layers of CA. Wedge is white acrylic.This razor is shave ready. The blade was honed on a Naniwa 1000 Superstone, 4000 and 8000 Norton, finished on a Chinese Water Stone and/or White Arkansas Translucent and, and then stropped on Latigo leather with chromium oxide and linen with diamond paste.
