Vintage Stradiuarius Violin!! Up for auction is an old antique 4-4 violin. The Violin has a tag inside that reads "copy antonious stradiuarius cremonensis faciebat anno 17". It is in VERY nice condition for its age and has a nice figured maple two piece back,sides and neck and a very nice tight grained spruce top. It has inlaid purfling front and back. The keys are rosewood and the fingerboard and tail piece are ebony. It has new strings and bridge installed. It has a great mellow sound and is in great playing condition right now, Also it looks like it has its original finish.The violin measures 23 1/4 inches total, and the body is 14 1/4" long.This violin is really really nice and the buy it now is very low for this instrument!!!
