Vintage Stuart crystal footed bowl - trifle / salad / fruit - etched grape vines A footed crystal bowl with an etched pattern of grape vines, made by Stuart probably in the 1950s or '60s. The bowl will make a good sized trifle, it is a perfect shape for a salad, and it will hold about 9 pieces of fruit without piling them too high. The Stuart name is etched under the foot, and the bowl has a resonant ring when pinged. Dimensions : The bowl is 11 cms (4.25 inches) tall, 20.5 cms (8 inches) in diameter across the mouth, and holds 1.4 litres (2.5 pints). It weighs 1.110 kilos before packaging. Condition : The bowl is in very good vintage condition, with no chips or nibbles, light surface scratching underneath, and light surface wear inside. Packaging : I will take time to package this item with great care, using mainly new materials. I will use recycled materials where possible, but only if they are still in good condition. Postage : I will post this item within 2 days of my receipt of cleared payment. I have shown postage and packaging costs above and below. Costs include a nominal charge of 50p towards the cost of packaging materials. I will always try to combine postage wherever possible.
