Remember these at mother's or grandmother's house? My mother had one too!Up for auction a Vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster with its original bowls and beaters. I have tried all the settings and it does run. I would recommend if you purchase and plan to use it, that you look at replacing the cord - the sheath at the end where it goes ino tthe mixer is broken open. The bowls are in good condition - some "gray" scarring in the bottoms from the beaters over time. There are some rough spots on the top edges of the bowls as well. The beaters are in good condition, not bent. The mixer itself has obviously seen a lot of use - is yellowed with age and the writing is worn off to some extent. The round part where the bowl sits is obviously worn (see photos) but still spins. The tilt mechanism on the mixer still works fine.
