You will be buying a Vintage Swan Mabie Todd & Co No. 3150 Lever Fill Fountain Pen, finished in Deep Burgundy/Red Wine with Gold Filled Trim & 14k Swan No. 1 Fine Nib, in Excellent to Near Mint Working Order. Barrel & Cap Both the deep burgundy/red wine colour barrel and cap are in near mint condition, there are no marks or scratches present. The barrel has a crisp inscription shown in picture 5 which, reads " 'Swan Self Filler Mabie Todd & Co Ltd Made In England" At the bottom of the barrel the numbers "3150," are also crisply engraved, displayed in picture 6. The thin gold plated cap band illustrated in picture 4 for more detail is in excellent untarnished condition. The gold plated lever is in near mint condition, shown in picture 7, there is no wear to the gold plate and is full working order. Pocket Clip The gold filled pocket clip is in excellent condition, sitting straight and firm to the cap, displayed in pictures 1-3 for more detail. End Trims Both end trims are in excellent condition, illustrated in picture 8. Nib The pens nib is in excellent condition, shown in pictures 9 & 10 the words "Swan 1 14ct Mabie Todd & Co," are clearly engraved. Filling The pens nib, ink feed and grip have been dissembled and sonically cleaned with a new ink sac fitted. The pen draws the ink up correctly and writes with a lovely smooth
