SOPHISTICATED 2-PIECE POLISHED COTTON SET FROM TAILORED JUNIOR, 1950's, size 6-8. I call this 2-piece set a brownie brown because it absolutely reminds me of the early brownie uniforms in Girl Scouts! This set is in outstanding condition! T is just one tiny fabric slit that I am carefully stitching up and will not show under the cummerbund belt. The bodice is a fitted jacket with snaps in front and an awesome ruched cummerbund effect that can be pulled tighter and buckled, very sophisticated expression! The extra fans out like a bow. Lovely! The skirt is pencil slim and has a metal side zipper. The measurements indicate a size 6 to possibly 8 with the following: 36" bust, 26 1/2" waist and 36" hips. The length of the jacket is 22" and the length of the skirt is 26". A very sophisticated and pulled together classic look, timeless and pretty!
