Vintage Tama Red Label era Octobans. High pitched set. 4 drums fit on one stand. These are from the early 1980s. Made in Japan. Coffin lugs. Drums are generally in good condition, but are used. They have some scratches, scuffs, dings, and a little dusty. Chrome is generally nice and shiny, but also shows very minor pitting, scratches, etc. Comes with original boxes, which are in average shape. Box has handwritten note from 1983. Remo black dot heads are in average shape, however they still sound pretty good and have some life left. THE BAD: Smallest drum has following issues: Small chip on bearing edge (see pics 9&10). Chip area has a little tape residue that could be cleaned. This chip does not effect sound. Also, small drum has one non-original lug (see pics 3,4&5). Its a vintage Made in Japan lug of unknown maker. No extra holes or anything. I'll include an extra MIJ lug, and the orig Tama lug, which is broken. The inside shell of the small drum (and drum #3) also show some black paint splatter inside, not sure if splatter is from factory or not. Only drums 1&2 still have Tama Red Label sticker. Stand is in good shape, i just noticed one leg points to the right side a little, but is still funtional. No sticker anymore.
