DESCRIPTION : You are bidding a FABULOUS sterling silver necklace that was made in Mexico, after 1948. This gorgeous necklace is masterfully crafted in a very elegant Taxco design with a great art deco look ~ the necklace is very dimensional and consists of twenty-one thick silver links that are inlaid with the most magnificent gemstones ~ luscious deep purple amethyst, golden tiger's eye, shimmering obsidian, multi-hued agate and jade or jadite in soft lustrous green ~ it almost looks as if the silver links were formed around the gemstones. The links are connected with soldered silver "O" rings. The clasp is a tongue and box closure that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. This is a timelessly elegant Mexican necklace ~ it is extremely well crafted ~ a classical design that will always be in style ~ a grand asset to any Mexican silver collection! This would make a grand Christmas present..........or, treat YOURSELF!!! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 15-3/4", width is 1/2", and weight is 54 grams. CONDITION : Superior vintage condition ~ no chips/cracks/breaks in gemstones ~ no dings or dents to the silverwork ~ no damage noted ~ just about PERFECT!
