DESCRIPTION : You are bidding a STUPENDOUS sterling silver bracelet that was handwrought in Taxco, Mexico, before 1948. This gorgeous bracelet is masterfully crafted in an elegantly classical style with a great art nouveau look. It consists of six wide repousse silver links with feminine flowing tendrils and silver demi sp accents ~ the designs are heavily oxidized which highlights the exquisite silverwork beautifully. The links are connected with soldered silver "O" rings which don't show from the front which gives this piece great design flow. The clasp is a simple hook closure that is seen on much of the early Mexican silver jewelry. This piece is extremely well made ~ it is a sophisticated, classical design that will always be fashionable! Christmas will be before we know it! Vintage art-to-wear Taxco silver is a gift that will last a LIFETIME! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 7-1/2", width 1-3/8", and weight is 40 grams. CONDITION : Excellent vintage condition ~ no dings/dents to demi sps or silverwork ~ no damage noted ~ rich, age associated patina to the silver (could be polished to a brilliant shine if new owner prefers that look) ~ just about PERFECT!
