DESCRIPTION : This is a STUPENDOUS sterling silver and ruby ring that was handwrought in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1930 to 1940. This ring is masterfully crafted in a classical design with a great art deco look! It has a large 1/2" round faceted ruby red stone that is in a raised prong setting accented with a swirl of silver and a silver leaf ~ the stone is fully faceted and has an open back setting to help capture the light and really make the ruby SPARKLE! The ruby is lab created ~ a lab created gemstone is a manmade gemstone with the same appearance, chemical formula, and crystallographic structure as the natural gemstone. This is an elegant and timelessly classic Mexican vintage silver ring ~ extremely well made and sure to bring compliments whenever worn, it won't go unnoticed! ~ a grand addition to your vintage Taxco silver collection! A great piece and highly collectible! SIZE: Ring is a US size 7-1/2, front is 1/2" long and 5/8" wide, and weight is 4 grams. CONDITION : Superior vintage condition ~ no dings/dents to the silverwork ~ no chips/cracks/breaks in ruby stone ~ no damage noted ~ just about PERFECT!
