Up for your consideration is my Vintage RC10 racing buggy that I restored for use at the 2013 and 2014 Vintage Offroad Nationals in Waterbury, CT. This buggy can be seen in the electronic RC Car Action for 2013. That is where the pic with it and the JRX2 came from. The car placed 3rd overall in the classic class in that race. It was also published (small pic) in RC Driver Magazine for the 2014 coverage. I ended up finishing 2nd overall with it in that race. Everybody who saw the car run was happy to see a jellybean wheeled RC10 on the track and was amazed how well it ran.I bought this buggy used and completely went through it to get it up to racing standards. Full ball bearings throughout. Ball bearing bellcrank steering. 6 gear tranny with 48 pitch spur and pinion. Diff is smooth. I did the mod on the tranny to use 2 bearings on the outdrives instead of the standard setup with the felt seals. It runs very free. Tamiya Sport Tuned motor is included since that what was used for the Classic Class in which it was entered. Motor has 1 race day on it (It is a handout motor for the race). This car has Proline Champion tires on the rear, and Proline knobbies on the front. Both have 1 Vonats race on them. Shocks are still excellent and don't leak. Ball ends are RPM with exception of the outer steering links. They use captured ends. The only read more
