Up for auction is a Team Associtated RC10T vintage lot. I bought this truck used a little while ago with the intention of rebuilding it and racing it. Before I rebuilt it, I raced it one time and it did very good compared to the newer trucks out there. I tore it completely apart and went through it piece by piece. First off, the previous owner touched up the scratches on the chassis with a black permanent marker and it looked horrible, so I cleaned up the scratches a little, and repainted the chassis with a high quality automotive black paint (the chassis was black originally). It is a "c" stamped chassis. The old hardware was pretty hammered, so I purchased and installed all new Team Associated factory team lightweight blue hardware for the rc10t. I went throught the stealth transmission and replaced the bearings, ATC clutch friction, and installed a new team associated spur gear. I put on brand new RPM a arms on all 4 corners, and brand new rear RPM big bearing axle carriers. I replaced all the ball ends with some used RPM ball ends I had laying around. The motor is a Reedy Firehawk 27 Turn motor that has very light use on it. The esc is a Tamiya teu-104bk model that is brand new (has a lipo cutoff, manual is included). The radio system is a duratrax FM unit that works great, with an older airtronics steering servo that is fast and also works great. The tires on the front are used proline The Edge tires that are in good shape, the front wheels, wheel bearings, rear wheels and rear "pink" losi bk bars have one run on them. Everything else on it is in very good condition as well. I drained and refilled the shocks with some losi 35 oil, they have not leaked at all in a month so I did not touch them. I believe the shocks are the Team shocks due to their color? The extra parts that come with the auction I believe are from a slightly older rc10t, there is an extra older model transmission, some extra a arms (all in good condition), the stock rear bearing carriers out of the truck I built, and some other hardware and assorted items. The extra chassis has been modified, and is probably garbage, but I'll send it anyway. The bodies are all used, the one pictured on the truck has a small crack in it near the rear shock tower, but it's in pretty good shape otherwise. The other bodies are pretty hammered. I never got around to painting up one myself for the truck. The extra tires that come with it are all very old, and for the most part have decent tread left on them. The stock rc10t tires are actually like new, but are pretty hard. The proline striker 2 street tires are in decent shape and useable, the others all would be good for bashing. I have not driven the truck since the rebuild, so I am certain it will need to be setup, and tinkered with, but it is a very good driving truck when setup. Keep in mind this is a used truck, and the chassis has been repainted. Please don't expect a mint condition truck out of this auction, it is a very nice truck, but not a showroom model.
