This is Sid. Just 12 inches tall but with over 12 feet of character. He looks to have had a life where he has been well loved and cherished as quite a bit of his golden mohair has rubbed away. He has the most adorable face with black and brown glass eyes a long snout and brown vertical stitched nose and mouth. He is 5 way jointed all working freely. His paws have rexine pads that have worn. Sids fur may have rubbed away in places but his material is still strong with no signs of weakness and no rips or holes etc., Sid has a squeaker inside his tummy that no longer works. His body legs and arms feel firm but soft filled with kapok? His body and arms and legs hold a good shape with no sagging. His head feels as though it is wood wool stuffed which has given him his unique charm. He is a magical tactile bear as he fits in your hands easily for a hug and I have been falling under his spell as I have been writing about him.
