VINTAGE THANKSGIVING COMPOSITION TURKEY CANDY CONTAINER A very nice, old, composition turkey candy container. I'm not sure if the container is paper-mache, some other composition, or both. The colors look original and the legs are painted metal. It is still on the original cardboard base that reads " GERMANY " on the bottom. This old turkey measures approximately 4 1/2" tall. It is in good condition with only minor loss to the paint. The head is removed to get to the candy (see photo) and has a cardboard cylinder on the end. When the head is put back in, it is quite loose and will fall out if it is not adjusted properly (from use and wear). A very nice old Thanksgiving Turkey Candy Container to add to any collection!
