Mark Bergin Toys LTD VINTAGE TIN LITHOGRAPH BATTERY OPERATED LANTERN SPACE ROBOT LINE MARJAPAN WILL SHIP INTERNATIONALLY This auction is for a highly sought after vintage tin lithographed battery operated space Lantern Robot with remote made by Line Mar Toys in Japan! This space robot has the original lantern (bulb inside), hands, bulb eyes, and powder tray in his head! The color and detail in the lithographing on this robot is out of this world! Lithographing on this toy runs from bolts, vents, buttons, antenna, electricity, and more! The litho has some oxidation as shown in photos. Feet bottoms are very clean, rubbing of litho inside left arm, around head and neck line, the top of head opens and closes very nicely. The Lantern Robot is one of the coolest robots out there would look really nice next to a collection of ships with the lantern in had to guide the way! This tin space trooper was tested on 5-18-2013 and WORKS with plenty of action and lights! The eyes lights up the lantern lights up he walks forward while making noise, hard to tell if he blows smoke powder but imagine it would just not wanting a mess around my computer. The remote looks great on the outside with oxidation on the inside. This toy is a lot of fun to use and should be played with on a regular basis because lets face it we are all still kids inside!
