Up for auction is a vintage compact. Unsure of age, but quite unique. Styled after a handbag or purse, this little gem measures approximately 2" tall x 2 3/4" at widest point. Surface I believe is painted with a small enamel decal on the front of the compact. The compact does have some surface scratches and light pitting on the back. This compact holds both powder and blush. The powder section is covered with a tiny button open door. It has the original puff but no powder remains. The tiny door does have considerable wear. The right side holds the blush and it is open with some blush does remain. The original blush puff is present. The powder puff is lightly soiled while the blush puff is laden with heavy blush. The compacts opens easily and closes securely. The gold colored handle does have heavy wear and t is some loss of material. Mirror has some light marks and is not perfect.
