There are lots of delicated edges and details to this piece, which we think are all intact. There may (or may not) be some loss to the scroll edges as there is some roughness. It appears the paste cracked at firing, causing cracks at the base and a few at the seams in the rear (please see close-up below). The piece measures 11 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the base. We pack items like this in a ball of cotton surrounded by bubble and then encased by peanuts.
