It is time to sell some GI JOE items that have have been accumulating while I have been putting together my collection. I am new to GI JOE collecting, but I have done as much homework as possible in putting together these auctions. T will be several dozen GI JOE items, including sets like this one up for auction in the next few weeks, so please watch for my other auctions. Up for bid is my attempt to recreate the 1967 Marine Medic Adventure Pack sold by Hasbro. THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL HASBRO SET, but is a recreation using genuine vintage Hasbro items, w possible. The original set, #7733.83, included GI Joe Action Marine, Stretcher, Boots, Dog tag, Fatigue suit and cap, Helmet, Medic Bag, Medic Flag, Splints, Bandages, Crutch, Stethescope and Arm Bands. I have included almost all of these plus some extras. Please refer to the pictures above. Good shape, tight joints with painted/rusted rivets. Soft head, Blonde hair with a few scuffs and rubs. The eyebrows each have rubs. His scar and lips are very faint as if someone was a bit rough with cleaning. His left hand has been repaired and glued (see photo), it does not flex but does rotate. T are small stre ss cracks on both knees. Footlocker - Good shape with no cracks, some small areas of paint missing and both handles attached. T is very faint writing on the front and the GI JOE sticker has been partially torn off. The tray is the woodgrain variety, with cracks noted and one corner with small piece missing (see photo). The equipment decal looks fine. Boots - Hasbro, tall brown and ridged. No tears or holes. Dog Tag - Vintage, later version with Bead Chain on clasp. Uniform - Shirt has no tears and is missing 1 snap. Tagged Hasbro, Hong Kong R (later issue). Pants have no tears and 1 snap, also tagged Hasbro, Hong Kong R. Both are clean. Plasic fatigue cap stamped Hasbro, Made in USA. Helmet - Stamped Hasbro R. This is in poor shape, but it is vintage Hasbro. T are no lugs and no chinstrap. L side is discolored with melt mark and R side is melted (see photo) looks battle worn. Sorry about the helmet but those Medic Helmets are tough to find! Medic Pack - 2 included, both in good shape. I can't tell if Hasbro, they each look a little different, so I included both. No tags. Crutch - No stamp, so not sure if Hasbro, but looks like it. Arm Bands - No Tags, both with working hook clasps, one slightly faded. Stethescope - 2 included, one in great shape and one for parts, looks genuine. Splints - 4 wood-grained splints. I've seen both plain and wood grain so not sure which is Hasbro. Plasma Bolttle - Great shape with good detail and "needle" inact. Stretcher - Not sure if Hasbro-no stamp, but HAS BEEN REPAIRED. (see photo) The folding mechanism works but it is held togther by wires on one side. Also one pole is cracked inside the canvas and the underside is a bit dirty...however, it still looks good from the top and folds up nicely. Now for the extra's: First Aid Kit - Red, stamped Hasbro Cartiridge Belt - Slight stain on web belt. Paperwork - Marine Manual and GI JOE Club application. T you have it...everything you need to add the Machine Gunner GI JOE to your collection! I will get items shipped out as soon as possible, usually faster than the 3 days listed below.
