Vintage Tom Thumb Bicycle radio from 1948/49 that is in very good condition for its age. Made by Automatic Radio Manufacturing Company, the radio has some cosmetic issues, as there is some paint loss, which is not unusual for this model, but overall the paint loss is minimal. Radio is operated by a 67.5 volt and (2) 1.5 volt "D" sized batteries, which are not included, but can be purchased on-line. Radio receives stations quite readily, with minimal background noise. Antenna is in excellent condition and extends properly. Interior of radio is very clean. Great hard to find radio that will be a fine addition to your collection.
