This is wonderful tea pot from the 1950's or 60's is marked as being made in Japan. It is bright red and in the form of a tomato with a comical face and a tomato leaf that represents the figure's hair and the stem it's hat. It has a few craze marks on the glaze which is typical for potter this era. It stands about 6 inches tall and is 8 3/4 inches from spout to handle. The colors are vibrant and pleasing and have not faded. T is one small chip inside the rim w the lid rests, which is not visible with the lid on nor would affect the function of the teapot in any way. Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.0.226.0
