They were marketed through various rug, carpet, furniture and home furnishing dealers.The Kilim carpet is a double sided flat weave carpet hand made by the Berber tribespeople in and around the Atlas mountains in Tunisia, North Africa. Each region Gafa, El Jem, Sidibou Said, Tunis, Hammamet, etc. has different, but similar design features on the carpets, but no two carpets are alike.
