This is one of the most strikingly beautiful turquoise items I've ever seen. Both the necklace and pendant are marked 925. The pendant is 4" long (without the bail) and 2" wide. The top of the pendant is made of handcarved ivory or bone. (It feels like glass on my teeth, but I can't say with certainty since I know of no test to determine). The carving is 3 birds with small black round eyes and is very intricate & detailed. The turquoise cab stone is very large measuring 1 1/2" wide & 1/2" tall or approximately 38 mm x 22-24 mm. The necklace came to me with the pendant but I'm sure the necklace was added later since the pendant is quite old. The pendant needs a bit of cleaning but I'll leave that to you.
