Up for auction is a unique Vintage Unsigned Blue Moonstone Juliana Style Pin measuring approximately 2.75 inches from end to end. Brooch consists of 16 blue marquise moonstones, 8 clear blue marquise stones, 4 Aurora Borealis chatons (a couple appear to have a small surface 1 mm scratch), and one blue moonstone circular cabochon in the center. Stones are in silver-colored pronged settings and back in silvertone, which outlines the outside of the marquise stones allowing view of the center of the marquise stones on the top and the bottom. Pin on back is functioning in a safety clasp (clasp appears a tad slanted upon close inspection but does not affect functionality of the pin). The open backs of the marquise/navettes, in addition to the figure 8 "puddling" and the actual pin being made into the brooch (as opposed to being attached later) lead me to believe this is an unsigned Juliana piece (though I cannot confirm this) or at least in the style of it. A lovely piece to add to your collection! Item has been pre-owned and was stored in a drawer on protective bubble wrap lining. Item has been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home and kept away from light in a cool area. Pin will come gift-boxed and protected in a small ziploc bag.
