DESCRIPTION: This auction is for an unsmoked very high Quality Sherlock Holmes extra-large Calabash Gourd Turkish Block Meerschaum Bowl, Extra Large & Tall Gourd from the 1960’s or earlier. The original bowl (cup) is a Turkish Block Meerschaum insert. The factory Bakelite hand cut stem (no tooth marks) has a very high polish. The fitting is a push type fitting in a Bakelite extension. The bowl cup is very large in size capacity. I find it to be a very good quality Calabash Solid Turkish Block Meerschaum Bowl pipe. The gourd, stem and bowl have been cleaned and polished by me. There’s a seam in the rustication. This possible repair is a very good & solid repair that's supported by a Delrin tenon inside the gourd. THE PIPE STAND IS NOT INCLUDED.
