You are bidding on a fabulous vintage, probably 1930's, vanity case holding bottles and a large mirror. The case is black with tiny white polka dots all over. It fastens with 2 small buckle clasps at the front and has a central plastic handle. Inside is a large mirror filling the whole of the lid with tiny metal grabs clearly saying made in England. The box holds one large plastic bottle, 2 small fat plastic bottles and a metal powder holder with little shelf to hold powder puff. The two side boxes are fixed and hinged to hold your trankelments with one having a hole for cotton wool to poke through. The side compartments and the bottle tops are a very old fashioned enamel in pinky beige. It has never been used and still has the original tissue paper to protect the mirror and a small paper envelope holding tiny rubber washers to make the bottles water tight. There is a problem with one of the fixed sides on the left of the picture as the enamel is beginning to bubble and peel, but for it's age, is beautiful and natty. I have had it for 30 years and I bought it from a little antique dealer in Derbyshire. It measures 22cm by 13.5cm and is 4.5cm deep. Overall this is a lovely little box.
