This is from an estate and very old (maybe around the 40's) and is very thick and heavy. The dish is 6" across and has very large thumb prints around the side and a sunburst in the center bottom. The lid has what looks like a leaving and rosebud motif on the top center. The side of the lid reads "925 STERLING" and notes 3 logos, the first of which is a cresent moon the second I think may be a grape cluster and the last may be a wheat bundle but I am not sure about the last 2. It also looks like a makers initials marks but I can't read them either. The glass is very thick and heavy and the sterling is very nice and not like tin. I have no way to weigh the sterling. The sterling does need a light polish but this is a very beautiful vanity piece that has absolutely no damage on the glass or sterling. Final bidder to forward paypal within 2 days plus $7.85 S/H. No payments received from or shipping to outside the 48 connected United States and no Canada please. Thank you for looking and have a good day!!
