Vintage Vaseline Stretch Glass Bowl / Amethyst Stand You are bidding on a beautiful bowl with its original black amethyst stand that glows purple when held to a bright light. The stand is signed on the base to read: 638 NAP or PAN & 647 and it measures 1-3/4 inches tall, 6-1/8 inches across the base by 4 inches across the recessed top. The matching bowl has a double fluted pattern around it and resembles an open flower when viewed from the top. The bowl is unmarked and has a ground and polished smooth base edge. It is made out of an iridescent, onion-skin finished, Vaseline colored stretch glass that does glow under a black light. It measures 3-3/4 inches tall, 8 inches across the top by 3-5/8 inches across the base. I believe this was either made by Tiffin or Fenton Glass during the late 1920s. Both pieces are free of chips, cracks, wear, repairs or damage of any kind. An exceptional addition to a collection of this type. I also have a vintage Fenton stretch glass plate up for auction this week. I will be happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases. My return policy is simple. If I should make a mistake or error in regards to age or condition of an item, I will be happy to refund all cost to the buyer including price paid and shipping & insurance costs within 30 days of auction end.
