************************************************************************** Vintage VEB Hodrewa Rothenthal Germany GDR 13" Blue King Nutcracker Desirable Piece in Good Original Condition - No Reserve A desirable vintage VEB Hodrewa Rothenthal Germany GDR wooden Blue King nutcracker. Part of a wonderful and quality collection of vintage German nutcrackers we are offering on our current seller's list. Stands 13" tall and is beautifully hand painted in traditional colors with rich blue coat and excellent clothing and facial detail - a wonderful piece! Hair and beard appear to be rabbit hair. Condition is good throughout as shown - small spots of intermittent wear in the paint which clearly do not detract (please view photos). King is missing the original gold septor which was held n his right side. Unmarked (or markings are obscure) however guaranteed 100% authentic.
