This clock is from some of my Dad's things. I am helping my Mom sell it. We know nothing about clocks and make no guarantees. It is being sold as is for parts or repair. I will try to furnish as much description as I can. The face of the clock and the marking on the back of the movement, identifies it as a Vedette. The back of the movement is marked Vedette Made in France Brevete S.G.D.G. 210111 The case needs to be refinished. All measurements I give are approximate. OVERALL: 26 5/8" tall 12 5/8" wide 7" deep The clock face is 8" diameter Depth from face to back of movement is 5" T are 8 chime bars measuring from a mininum of 14" to a maximum of 20 3/4" One of the main springs is missing. I can only measure 1/2 of the other one that is sticking out. It measures around 15/16". Depth of main spring is approx. 1 1/2" T is no key. Both pieces of glass appear to be original and are in good condition. Top glass protrudes out (domed). Bottom glass is flat and beveled. T is a chip or gouge in part of the back of the case (see picture). Also, it appears that one of the "floral" decoration pieces is missing from the top left of the case. T is also something written in what I assume must be French, on a paper that is on the bottom inside door. T is a piece approx. 5" long and 2 screws that are approx. 1 1/4" long that are separate.
