Available for your consideration is a Vintage Cast Iron Oil Lamp Wall Mount Holder Purchased from a Local Estate Sale and offered AS FOUND. Sorry - NO Wall Bracket This early lamp holder would stick out from the wall approx. 11 1/2". And so you know if your oil lamp will fit, the part that the lamp font sits into has an outer diameter of around 5" and an inner diameter of approx. 3 1/2". If you need any other measurements, just ask. This lamp holder is marked on the inside, but the stamping is faint and even under lighted magnification I can't really read it clearly.... I BELIEVE that it says Made in 1953 but I can't really say for sure... Raised portion on the back of the lamp holder is for adding a reflector if you choose. The portion of the holder that would be inserted into the bracket is marked on one side with a "U" and on the other side "JM 2" SUPER attractive piece - very ornate and unique. Painted colonial black - paint is in good condition. I think you will really like it!
