Vintage Violet Wand Set This is a vintage Violet Wand set I believe it dates from the 1920s so it quite an early one The set comes in a wooden case covered with faux leather material, inside the lid is covered with blue velvet and a blue paper lining to the base. This houses the main base unit (transformer) and has a cable to connect to the electric supply (note it is not fitted with a plug), there is a dial to turn which controls the strength of the out put. A cable leads of the unit to the bakelite hand unit which has a fitting to hold the electrodes. The set has four electrodes, a rake or comb, a U shaped piece (curved to have close contact with the chin? or arm/leg, a pointed one for precise use and a metal tube (not sure what thats for), each electrode is approx 14-16cm long. I have not tested the set so im and unaware of its working condition, there is no damage to the items, the handset is engraved with the name H Phillips.
