Double your traffic. Vintage Viscoloid Celluloid Easter Chick Egg Car Viscoloid Co LOGO No Reserve Fabulous Estate find! Up for auction is a Little Chick (Still in his egg shell) driving an automobile! This cute little guy would make a fine Easter present or decoration. It is a Viscloid toy and it is marked. The colors are outstanding! I can't detect any color loss. There are no splits, chips, cracks, holes and the graphics are excellent! There are two slight dents in the egg shell and a name penciled very lightly on the bottom. The seams are all intact and tight. It measures approximately 3 3/4" long, 2 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" wide . I would say it is good condition for being almost 100 years old! You will find the Viscoloid Company logo in picture 6. The logo is a VCO with USA. It is located just above the wheels on the egg on the left side. I have other Viscoloid toys listed on Ebay and will combine items to save on shipping charges. Company History: In 1901, Bernard W. Doyle joined with a few others to establish the Viscoloid Company in Leominster, Massachusetts, and pioneer in the pyroxylin plastics industry of the area. They manufactured hair combs and ornaments, replacing the tradition horn with plastic. The company expanded to other toilet articles in 1910 as sales declined for hair ornaments.
