Composition Vogue Toodles doll 1945 to 1949 Excellent condition with very nice vintage clothingThis is a Vogue doll, called Toodles, precursor to Ginny. She's got nice painted features, which are in excellent condition. She's a composition doll, so she has some fine crazing but not too bad no missing compo.Her mohair wig is in great shape. She is marked on her back, "Vogue" which puts her between 1945 - 1949. She's in very nice shape. I think her arms are possible replacements. Her stringing is pretty tight.Her little straw hat used to be green I think, the outside has faded to a natural straw color, but the inside is still green. I think her underwear are original Ginny underwear, due to the looped trim. Her little dress is in nice shape too.Overall, a very nice example of Toodles, an early Vogue version of Ginny. No flaws that I can see on her body.
