VINTAGE 60'S VOX FOLK TWELVE ELECTRIC GUITAR- HSC VERY RARE! All original mid to late-sixties Vox Folk Twelve Electric guitar. Very few of these were made circa 1965 thru 1968.Beautiful, lace-figured mahogany back and sides, spruce top, rosewood bridge with adjustable-height saddle, bound mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays and truss rod, cool-shaped tortoise pickguard, interesting pattern around sound hole. Killer Vox headstock logo.Original factory, Vox chrome pickup, with VOX logo etching in chrome. Slick. Original black metal volume and tone knobs. Electronics are quiet and work good.Original etched Vox headstock logo and VOX FOLK TWELVE ELECTRIC on pickguard. This guitar is in good condition for it’s age. It has a few bumps and one of the strings (G) is missing. There are some lacquer marks which is normal for a guitar of this age. The original finish still shines.It will need a new set of strings eventually and the case although in great condition, is broken on one side and will have to be repaired or replaced. The action is low and playability is great. This guitar has excellent acoustic tone, but sounds incredible when cranked up with an amplifier. With an overdriven amp, you can also get an amazing, raunchy 12-string electric sound with controllable feedback if desired. Really cool.This Vox is read more
