VINTAGE WAHL EVERSHARP FOUNTAIN PEN DESK SET PENS INK WRITING INSTRUMENTS CHICAGOUp for bid is this vintage Wahl Eversharp Fountain Pen Desk Set. We believe the base is marble, and the base with pen rest weighs 1 pound 6.5 ounces. The base is black with brown and white swirls. The base has wear due to age and appears to have been dropped, as one side of the base top edge has some chips and a piece was repaired (please see photo). The base bottom has a felt-like material that has worn off in some areas. T is a sticker on the base bottom that is worn due to age and says: Wahl Eversharp Fountain Pen Desk Set. The base measures about 3 3/8 inches tall, about 4 1/2 inches wide and about 1 inch deep. The pen holder has a ball at the bottom, which allows the pen holder to move around in a circle. The holder is black with gold colored stripe accents. The base of the holder says: Wahl-Eversharp Gold Filled Made in Chicago, U.S.A. The pen holder stands about 3 inches above the base.The fountain pen with nib measures about 8 1/4 inches long. The fountain pen is also black with gold colored stripe accents. The nib has dried black ink on it; will leave cleaning to the discretion of the buyer. The nib says: Wahl Eversharp, 14K, Gold Seal Signature.
