Here is a beautiful vintage doll, possibly made by Pedigree, although there are no markings on her except the numbers 009024 on the back of her head and 010014 on the small of her back. She is a big girl, standing approximately 30 inches tall. She has a battery compartment complete with its cover on her back, there is a little corrosion on the battery terminals inside the compartment so this will need a bit of attention if you want to try to get her to talk again. She has a push button on her chest which feels like it should still operate the talking mechanism as it feels springy when you push it. I think she may be whats known as a hand assisted walker, but I cannot be sure. The walking mechanism may even be operated by battery, I just don't know. She has lovely, uncut, silky blonde hair, such a sweet face, bluey/grey eyes, with all her eyelashes, and pale pink lips. She has no bites or chews whatsoever, just a few surface scuffs on the side of her legs, and is really in excellent condition, especially for a doll of this age (from her clothes I am guessing 1960s or possibly very early 1970s). She has obviously been very carefully played with and well looked after. I love her clothes.
