This auction is for a wonderful Mexican motif vintage restaurant pitcher with an ice-lip. It measures approx. 7 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition and has a backstamp indicating that it was produced in March of 1941. The design shows a prickly pear cactus, a man with a sombrero riding a burro, with an adobe house and hills in the background. The design is on both sides, but reversed from one to the other. I have a matching plate also available on eBay. This type of restaurant - diner ware is so nostalgic and getting very hard to find, even on the internet.
