Vintage Watling Weight & Fortune Scale This auction is for a Vintage Watling Weight & Fortune Coin Operated Scale . This machine will tell your fortune and your weight!! It has over 200 quiz features which include fortunes on love and marriage, what your dreams mean, and general what do you know questions. This machine was made by the Watling Scale Co. of Chicago, IL and is from around the 1950s. It has been used as is evident by the pictures, with some paint chipping and just dingy. A good cleaning could easily turn this baby around. The knob is difficult to turn, maybe someone with some mechanical sense could figure it out. I don't know how accurate the scale is, but it says it is "Balanced Weight, No Springs" on the scale itself. It also has 2 mirrors on it, one on the top and one longer one on the bottom half. No keys come with it. The dimensions of the machine are approximately 16 1/8" wide x 5 3/4" tall x 25 1/8" deep. This really is quite an item and very unique.
