Vintage Original Beatrix Potter "Peter Rabbit Nursery Set" By Wedgwood. This 3pc set is original vintage Wedgwood! This set has been in storage for at least 15 years and has never been used! The box does show wear, tear, and yellowing from age, but the 3 pieces are in excellent condition! The History of Wedgwood Peter Rabbit: Issued to commemorate the origin of the story "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" written, by the infamous Beatrice Potter, in 1883 in a letter to her governess' son Noel, who was ill in bed. Noel saved the illustrated letter which Potter later borrowed in order to develop it into the story which was finally published in book form. Each piece features scences from "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" with quotations from the story! Own a piece of History! Don't let it get away...but it today!
