You are bidding on a Vintage West Bend Spun Aluminum Serving Oven (bun warmer) in GREAT condition. This item was made by West Bend around 1930. It has an adjustable vent in the top (see pics 4-5) to control moisture. It also has an interior aluminum serving basket (pic # 1 & 6). This was used for re-heating breads, crisping crackers, crisping cereals and for keeping cooked foods warm for serving. Was also used for baking apples and potato's. It has the original instruction booklet with it which is VERY rare to find. I found this item at a local estate sale. It does have 2 VERY small dings in the lid. Interior basket and base are ding free. Has less than what I would consider "normal" usage scratches for an item of its age. The baklite handles and lid knob are secure and in great shape. I have not cleaned, shined up or refurbished this item at all. I do not "pretty up" my Vintage items before listing. At the most they are wiped down with a damp rag. I feel Vintage items should LOOK Vintage...but to each his own. lol I want you to SEE exactly what you are buying. This piece should SHINE when cleaned well and polished! Fantastic Collectible Piece! Weighs about 4lbs properly packed and comes with shipping insurance at no cost to you. Please email any questions you may have. I start all my auctions at a low price so everyone gets a chance
