This is a lovely vintage cuckoo clock that was made in West Germany. It is beautifully painted with foliage, berries, pine cones and mushrooms on the bottom. T are two ledges on either side, one has a pine tree with a deer beside it and the other side has a larger painted pine tree. The upper portion has painted windows and a long flower box just below. The roof is also painted green, yellow and brown. This has Regula works inside and reads "Synt-Oil Clock 859, G.M. 18842880/1692176, A-25-87, MADE IN WEST GERMANY, No (0) jewels unadjusted REGULA, Helmut Kammerer". This measures 14.5" high x 11.5" across from outside-to-outside edge of the roof. The good news is that...the works inside look clean, the bellows are intact, and the bird is in great condition. This clock has the original back with spring, wood pendulm and weights. Now for the not-so-good news...it is missing a small clump of flowers on the right side of the flower box in front, t is some splitting of the wood on the inside the clock w the chain holes are, and the bird needs to be adjusted because his head touches just above the hole, which keeps it from coming out to cuckoo.
