Please read the listing and view all pictured before you bid on this item.Offered for auction is a vintage Westinghouse Steam Turbine built for bureau of Ships US NavyNameplate, Emblem.This has a contract date of 8-5-40 so it would be in the WWII Era.This is some information from Wikipedia about the Bureau of Ships ( The United States Navy 's Bureau of Ships (BuShips) was established by Congress on 20 June 1940, by a law which consolidated the functions of the Bureau of Construction and Repair (BuC&R) and the Bureau of Engineering (BuEng).This does have the US Navy inspection stamp logo.This does not have a Ship name, it measures 5 inches X 5-3/4 inches.This does have a 3/4" arch because it was probably mounted on the shell of the turbine.This does have some tarnish and gray paint in some areas so this will require some cleaning.This is not being advertised as being in 100% perfect condition so please consider this when you bid.Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
