This is a fabulous bracelet!! The bracelet is Whiting & Davis. The large center is porcelain by Limoges. The portrait, on the porcelain, has a transfer portrait, with hand painted enhancements, over the transfer. Those highlights are on her toga style wrap, her beaded necklace, and hair adornment as well. The porcelain portrait is bezel set, with an additional gold tone leaf frame. The back has MADE IIN LIMOGES FRANCE, in gold letters. The bracelet is beautiful with an ornate embossed design. That is hinged on one side and has a locking clasp on the other. T ia also a gold tone safety chain. On the inside of the band, on both halves of the hinge, it is stamped WHITING & DAVIS CO MESH BAGS. T are also the numbers 1541 engraved under the designers stamp. Those look similar to numbers you often see inscribed inside a pocket watch. This bracelet has an ornate metal work design over the band, which adds a very dressy look. The bracelet is 2 3/8" in diameter, as an inside measurement, but opens wide enough to be easy to put on. The porcelain portrait brooch set is 1 1/4" in length and 7/8" in width. The transfer has been well placed on the porcelain and is clear and lovely, especially with the addition of the hand painted enhancements. Other than very minimal surface wear to the inside surface of the band, this bracelet is in mint condition.
