This is a vintage browband headstall and handmade marked Buermann bit probably from the 1930's or 1940’s. The condition of the leather is very good. Although we are selling it for display purposes only. The headstall is handmade but is not maker marked. There is a number imprinted on the crown strap 8190 which is probably a style number. It is made from basket stamped oiled bridle leather with a browband and a nose band. The headstall is adjustable with a buckle at the crown. It has two big brass loop back conchos at the browband and two slotted brass conchos at the bit ends. The condition of the headstall is very good with wear and minor cracking on the browband and near the buckle on the nose band. There is also cracking near the buckle holes on the throat latch.
