This vintage/antique Wimshurst Generator is a beautiful piece of art! Complete as seen in the photos. The whole unit measures 22" long, 11" wide and about 18" tall. The largest glass disk/wheel measures 14" in diameter. Made by Central Scientific Laboratory Apparatus, Chicago, Illinois. No date but probably from the 1950's or 60's, maybe older.Because of the fragile glass, we will disassemble the generator for shipping. We will be extremely careful with the packaging. The glass will be carefully wrapped and protected with layers of bubble wrap. The size of this package makes the shipping a bit expensive for the west coast... around $54-$55. To the east coast the shipping would be $22-$25.UPDATE.... During preparation for shipping I accidentally dropped one of the glass jars and chipped the top edge. I'm not sure if that will affect how it works but I need to make sure you know that before bidding.
