Neat old vintage wind meter, also know as an anemometer, made by the Keuffel & Esser Co. in New York. This item measures wind speed, etc. and has various dial readings. It is extemely sensitive. The fan begins to turn even while slightly blowing on the meter. T is a serial number inscribed on the fan outer covering of "DPC-42245". This measures about 6" in diameter and about 2" thick. It comes with the original leather case. I do not know how it measures the wind speed and the meaning of all the dials but it is a neat old scientific instrument in excellent condition.
