Beautiful Vintage Wood Cradle This is a very well made wood baby/infant cradle. The thinnest visible wood measures 3/4" thick and the wood grain is beautiful. Cradle sides are notched to receive head and foot ends. There are no visible nails or screws. It appears that any nail holes are filled in with wood putty and screws that secure the base of the cradle to the cradle rockers have flush wood caps that conceal them. The crib measures 29 inches from rocker end/end, 25 inches tall from base of rocker to top of rocker, and 39 inches from top of head end to top of foot end. The ends have hand holds to carry and to rock the cradle. There are a couple of very minor indentations smaller than a dime, in size, and less than 1/16 inch deep and one minor scratch on the interior of the foot board end less than 1/16 inch deep but running dotted a span of about 3 inches and could be easily removed with a light sanding. There are a couple locations where some white wall paint rubbed on to the wood but could easily be cleaned with light sanding or light detergent.
