DETAILS Vintage 5 Inch Corrugated Graining Rolls For making faux Wood Grain Painting Tools circa. 1900's This listing is for Five vintage 5 inch corrugated graining rolls. Named~ Blend-o Grainers and Davis Patent Grainers with improvements. These handy tools were made for adding a faux wood grain to any pieces that you are painting or staining. These were very popular in the early 1900's to give cheap soft wood furniture the same look as expensive hard wood furniture so customers could afford the best.. These pieces are a round roll, 5 inches long, with different circular grain patterns carved into it. The rolls are made of wood and they come with the original cardboard boxes. These are great pieces for printers, artists, painters, furniture makers and wood workers or all types! Condition: These pieces are vintage and shows signs of wear from use and storage. These pieces have been used and currently have some leftover paint in some of the seams, so they could use a good cleaning. The boxes are worn and in pieces, but can be taped back together.
